CLARKSVILLE, TN – The cast and crew of Baker’s Dozen by Pat Cook, the Rossview Playhouse spring competitive one act play, won first place at the Tennessee High School Speech and Drama League State Competition held at Northeast State Community College April 21-23.

AnnaLee Casto won Best Actress, and Rafael Kenney, Jaden Edwards, Jake Schwankhart, and Allison Wells all were named to the State All-Star Cast.

The students successfully defended their state first place title from the last in-person competition held in 2019 where they also won Best Actor along with several named to the State All-Star Cast.

The Rossview Playhouse is directed by LuEllyn Boyer Wilcox who is finishing her 33rd year as a teacher and theatre director in CMCSS. Wilcox stated that she was proud of the endless hours the cast and crew worked to receive such a great honor for their school and district.
