NFL Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots For Kendrick Bourne - Inquisitr

Historically, Bill Belichick has built his New England Patriots rosters through the defense. That's usually the strongest unit of his team, but having Tom Brady behind center sure did more than enough to help on the other side of the football.

That's no longer the case, and Mac Jones can only do so much with the weapons at his disposal.

Neither of the Pats' receivers has done enough to prove they should be an integral part of their future. However, Kendrick Bourne has just enough potential to be the first to break that spell in the post-Brady era, which is why he gathered league-wide interest in the past couple of weeks:

So, even though the Pats have no interest in trading him now, we know Belichick is unpredictable, and anything can happen. If that's the case, these are the teams to look out for:

Aaron Rodgers pretty much threw all of his young receivers under the bus. He called them out for their drops and poor route-running, so it's clear he's not satisfied with the hand he's been given.

They lost Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and a receiving duo of Randall Cobb and Allen Lazard may not turn a lot of heads. The Packers addressed their need for WRs by bringing in Sammy Watkins in the draft, but that may not be enough to compete at the highest level right now.

The Dallas Cowboys have one of the most promising wideouts in the league in CeeDee Lamb, and Michael Gallup may not be that far behind.

But injuries have taken a big toll on their receiving corps, and they'll be pretty shorthanded for the start of the season. Patience is running out in Dallas, so they might as well look to make a move if rookie Jalen Tolbert doesn't turn out to be as good as advertised.

The Tennessee Titans just lost A.J. Brown, and even though they didn't do all that much to replace him in the offseason, the sole fact that they brought in Josh Gordon to the practice squad means they could be on to something.

Of course, Bourne isn't Brown by any means, but he'd still be an upgrade over their current receiving corps of Robert Woods, Treylon Burks, and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. The Titans will be run-heavy, but that's still not quite impressive.
