With over 20 different personalization options for the Challenger alone, it's safe to say Cars and Coffee meet-ups will be much more unique.

As part of Dodge's constantly growing list of packages, they have devised yet another way to pack more ponies into their muscle cars. The new Jailbreak package will be offered in the 2022 Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebodies, giving the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 an insane 807 hp.

That's not what they mean by "Jailbreak", though. Part of this package also includes the ability to "break the rules" when it comes to customizing the aesthetic features of these cars.

At some point, everyone goes on a car manufacturer’s website and builds out their dream car, (whether they can actually afford it, or not) but often times the customization options only go so far, and they’re left sacrificing one option for another. For an additional $995, Dodge is allowing buyers of the new 2022 Charger or Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody to break the rules by opening up the catalog and allowing buyers to let their imagination run rampant.

“We're taking most of the parts and pieces we've used over the years, adding a few new ones, and letting customers build their own 'One-of-One.' So, if you're dreaming about owning a Stinger Yellow Challenger with Brass Monkey wheels, Hammerhead Grey seats, blue Brembo's, and red badges, I'm not sure we should, but we'll build it for you" announced Dodge Brand CEO Tim Kuniskis.

If you’re worried about having to decide between this wild number of different options, the Dodge Product Design Team released five pre-configured designs to help you out. With names like Brass Funky, Red Dawn, Old School, Yin-Yang, and The Classic, there’s surely a design to fit anyone's style. This might be a good option if you're only interested in those 10 extra horses.

The announcement of the Jailbreak add-on comes shortly after Dodge initiated their Never Lift campaign earlier this month. The Never Lift campaign calls for “24 Months of Muscle” in which at least one new product or enthusiast-related announcement will be released every three months. With most car manufacturers focusing on their future in EV, Dodge has mapped out the next two years of its contribution to the beastly All-American muscle line-up. Including the return of Direct Connection, which will be announced in mid-December.

"Roughly half of all Dodge customers modify their vehicles. For those looking for increased performance, we will launch Direct Connection next month. But for those looking for a unique appearance, we are going to let customers run free through the styling archives" said Kuniskis, hinting at some things to come.

Aside from the fact that it sounds like you’re ordering a fancy latte off the Starbuck menu, these models unleash an endless amount of customization options. Let your creative side show in your specifically designed chariot of incredible power. While 2022 Chargers and Challengers won't be available until later this year, keep a lookout for more of Dodge's announcements to see what exciting thing they roll out next.
