STAR stands for Safety Training Awards Recognition, an incentive program that rewards members who take advantage of continuing education in health and safety subjects and maintain an outstanding safety record on-the-job, Participants will have chances to win items such as cell phones, televisions, stereo equipment, gift certificates, and possibly even a new pick-up truck.

How to Participate: Attend scheduled continuing Safety Education classes at the JATF and remain eligible for awards by working accident-free for at least 800 hours between each calendar year, beginning January 1st and ending December 31st.
